Middle East Colleges and Universities
Universities and colleges are institutions that offer education beyond the secondary level. The Middle Eastern Region has witnessed a resurgence in foreign students attending universities and colleges there. The Middle East is the region where Asia, Africa, and Europe meet. Part of the Middle East's identity results from changes to its sociocultural borders throughout its history. The term 'Middle East' first referred to the western and northern approaches to India. It now refers to the region stretching from South Asia to North Africa. 'Middle East' has replaced older terms such as 'Near East'. Below are links to colleges and universities in the Middle East.
