Famous Violinists

The count of famous violinists in the world is like a never ending string of music and melody. Nevertheless, this article is an attempt to enlist some of the most famous violinists in the world of music…

If any musical instrument that has always fascinated me, after of course, the guitar, it is the violin. As known, it is a string instrument consisting of four strings, which are tuned in perfect fifths ( musical interval between a note and the note seven semitones above it on the musical scale). The style and elegance which this posh instrument carries, surpasses all its other ‘contemporaries’. Did you know that a person who is into violin making or repairing is attributed as a luthier? Well, even I was not aware of this fact until now! Baroque music, classical, jazz, folk music, pop-punk and rock and roll are some common musical genres which can be played on the violin. As obvious it is, a person who plays this instrument is known as a violinist or a fiddler. And how is the violin played? Well, just draw a bow across one or more strings of the violin and voila! On a serious note, it is not that easy! Violinists are aware how challenging learning to play a violin is. But let’s not go into that and quickly get on with the list of the most famous violinists of all time.
